Give chatgpt your subject, grade,topic and ask for a lesson plan including: objectives activities and questions for discussion. What previously took an hour now takes 5 minutes. You will modify it for your class – ai will do the structure.
quizlet – ai-powered flashcards
Copy / paste your lesson notes into quizlet and it creates automatically flashcard sets, tests and studying games for your students. The ai also adjusts to the weak points of each student.
canva for education
Canva is free for teachers and students. Use it for creating posters for your classroom, presentation slides, worksheets, infographics etc. The templates are fantastic and look very professional.
diffit – differentiated materials
Diffit.me rewrite your text on any reading level. Feed the same article to your bottom and top readers both at the appropriate level. Free as a free beer and very useful.
grammarly – faster feedback
Instead of having to go through student essays by hand, you can grammarly to do the minimal grammarpass. Then you can put your energy into the ideas and ideas themselves. Grammar for spelling, punctuation and sentence structure.
None of these are really a must, so don’t feel like you have to try all of them. Give chatgpt a shot for lesson planning first-saving even one hour in your first week will make it worth your while.
